Once a student has matriculated at SPU, 学生不应该在没有咨询学校的情况下在其他机构注册课程 undergraduate academic counselor 完成一个 Application for Studying Away (PDF). 如果学生希望选修专业或辅修课程, 表格上需要指导老师的签名.
有关信贷转移的政策包括:
- It is the student’s responsibility 以确保SPU收到反映课程作业的最终正式成绩单.
- Students may complete no more than 30 credits from other institutions once matriculated at SPU, 除了通过批准的海外学习项目或访问项目.
- No coursework completed elsewhere 如果学生已经在SPU获得了同等课程的学分，将会被转学吗. (参见下文“零学分转移政策”，了解更多信息.)
- Students may not take courses concurrently 在常规学年(秋季至春季学期)从SPU和另一所院校, except when participating in approved study abroad.

Zero credit transfer policy
If a student earns credit for a course at SPU (that is, the course is completed with a “P” grade, 或成绩为“D”或以上)的学生不得在其他地方选修同等课程，并将该课程转到SPU以获得学分, 因为:
- 同一学生不得因同一学术内容获得两次学分
- SPU课程的学分不能被取消，也不能被其他机构的课程所取代.
